FIRST RESPONDER & VOLUNTEER FIRE FIGHTERS
The Van Dyne Fire Department needs your help and is currently recruiting First Responder and Volunteer Fire Fighter’s.
Looking to Serve Your Community? Work Nights? Retired? Home During the Day?
WE WANT YOU!
Did you know that volunteer Emergency Medical Responders (First Responders) provide a vital service to our community on a daily basis? These dedicated individuals provide life sustaining care ranging from simple first aid to CPR and AED application to patients prior to the arrival of an ambulance. In a rural setting such as ours, having trained first responders arrive on scene quickly can make a critical difference to the patient.
The Van Dyne Volunteer Fire Department is looking for dedicated individuals to join us as First Responders so that we may continue to provide the best medical care possible to the residents of our township. Anyone 18 or older living or working in the Town of Black Wolf or the Town of Friendship are welcome to apply.
We are especially in need of members that can respond to calls during business hours on weekdays. The majority of our current responders work during the day outside of the township and are unable to safely and easily respond in a timely manner.
To learn more about this opportunity to serve, please contact one of the following individuals:
Chief Mike Becker: 920-960-3207 Asst. Chief Corey Hintz: 920-960-3982 Or email [email protected]
*We also have opportunities for firefighters age 18 or older and cadets age 14-17 that reside or are employed in the Town of Black Wolf or the Town of Friendship. If interested, contact us via the individuals listed above.
